Hi, you will have to rebuild (=recompile) your kernel, that is make xconfig make dep make clean make zImage make modules make modules_install I'm sure apm isn't compiled into the kernel yet. By the way, I have a toshiba satellite 2520 cdt, rh 5.2, kernel 2.2.9 and apm works.
