Try the Linux Laptop web site at
http://www.cs.utexas.edu/users/kharker/linux-laptop/ this has a section on
most Toshibas. I happily run Linux on Sat Pro 420 with 100 MHZ CPU, 24MB
RAM and 800MB disc.
