Hello linux-laptop,
One week ago install the red-hat on my laptop Compaq armada
and work good .
For test make the same installation on pc of my house (compaq
deskpro)...but create the lilo in master boot record.
The settings is :
100 mb swp and 1000 mb native linux part.
Now...the problem !!!
is not possible to remove the swp partition and the lilo bootloader!
The 3 format to hd not remove the 1st portion of lilo...
to delete..i make a manual editing of master boot whit freeware
utility.
the problem of SWP partition is here !!!
the program Fdisk(all version)disk druid and Partition magic
not see or not destroy the bastard area!!!!
I want an utility to write pattern on my HD (possible dos OS)
Help my the soluctions to remove or the possible internet url
to download this utility!!!!!!
