Hello at everyone in this newsgroup!!!
I have a IBM 560 Thinkpad, with 40 MB in RAM, Pentium MMX 166 Mhz.
Recently i bougth slackware 4.0, with XFree86 3.3.3, so i want to
configure my
video card. This is the output when run Superprobe:
First video: Super-VGA
Chipset: Trident Cyber9382 (PCI Probed)
Memory: 1024 Kbytes
RAMDAC: Trident Built-In 15/16/24-bit DAC
(with 6-bit wide lookup tables (or in 6-bit mode))
I run XF86Setup and everything look ok, but the problem is that, when the
program switch to Super VGA in order to probe the configurations made by
me,
the screen become blank, in graphic mode.
When i run xf98config and one stage of the configuration appear this:
Running X -probeonly -pn -xf86config /tmp/.xf86config542/XF86Config.tmp.
grep failed.
Cannot find clocks in server output.
Anybody have a computer like mine and has the right configuration,
XFree86Config.
Thanks for your help!!!
