What video chip does the VLX use? My Transport XPE uses the cursed Cirrus
Logic GD7555, which is only partially supported even in the latest version
of X. Configuring X was consequently a hassle, but I did eventually get a
decent 800x600 display in a Slackware 4 (kernel 2.2.6) installation and
would be glad to compare notes if they'd be useful.
