Jules,
I tried several times to get this to work with RedHat and SuSE to no avail. I
was trying to load a libretto, which has a proprietary pcmcia floppy, e.g.
couldn't use the floppy beyond initial boot.
Since I'd purchased RedHat and SuSE I had install support, but that didn't
help :(. It was a free toy, so I didn't put much into it. Maybe I'll try again
this week to have it for our next Linux Demo Day event :).
Do you have an ethernet card? You're probably better off going for an nfs or
ftp install.
I think debian still does an initial install from 7 floppies. You could go
that way too.
I'd like to be able to do initial installs over serial, but don't know of any
dists that do and don't yet need it enough to build my own :).
