NO, you'll have to write it :-)
When you do, send me a copy. I'm doing the same thing here. If you will
settle for half baked networking, Red hat have documented PLIP
communications on their website. Go to www.hotbot.com, put in the words
Linux PLIP Install, & follow the links.
Once you get used to them, the HOWTO's aren't that useless - in fact
they're reasonably good. Oh sure there's reams of GPL stuff, HOWTO
history, Credits to individuals, TOCs, Preambles, & Expressions of
unworthiness or lack of knowledge on the part of the author. IGNORE ALL
THAT. The rest is good information. There is only one or two I would
write off, and the Networking HOWTO definitely isn't one of them. It is
one of the best. If a HOWTO is not good enough, get the latest version,
then mail the author, and he'll improve it. You won't get that from
Microsoft.
