Hi there, I am running NT 4.0 on VM ware on RedHat 6 on a Dell Inspiron 7000. I have a dual boot system and boot the native NT 4 system with an adjusted hardware profile. I have Softex APM and PC card services installed. All PCMCIA services are disabled in the virtual machine via a separate hardware profile. Now the problem: Whenever I boot the virtual machine the PC card services come up with the error message that they are not correctly installed and have to be reinstalled. This cannot be cancelled, clicking OK or trying to close the window results in the startup of the setup program. Does anyone have experience with that? I don't know which service starts this up or how else I can cancel that. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Gernot
