Have you looked at /var/log/messages after the machine comes back up? I keep
running into this with my adaptec scsi card. I think there's a problem with
the pcmcia package and it hits specifiaclly with my laptop (micron transport
trek), but it may be the adaptec card. I was running into memory probe
problems.

I don't use the scsi card much, so haven't isolated it well enough to figure
out what it is. I am first updating to latest kernel and pcmcia packages, then
I'll look into it if it's still broken.
