Thanks for all the leads to linux laptop shops. I just wanted to know if
there were any more places out there? I'm shopping around (on behalf of my
Prof.) for a nice laptop to serve as a base station for a Nikon N90.
Currently, we're using those Xybernaut Mark IV but they don't upgrade very
well (or rather not at all).
This brings to mind a question... has anyone had problems getting 10 gig
LBA (8 gig CHS) drives working on laptops (i.e. Xybernaut Mark IV)?
Specifically, getting the machine to boot into Linux? I know the HD is
good because I tested it in a Toshiba 410CDT.
