compaq armada 1130t, pcmcia cdrom(panasonic kxl783a) problem, help!

ok, so i'm trying to load redhat 6.1, with the pcmcia boot disk off their
website, it doesn't recognize my panasonic kxl783a cd rom in the pcmcia
slot, what can i do?
