[ OT: Sorry about not having the subject set correctly. I am reading
an archive with Netscape and writing with mutt. The archive has
no option to let you see headers ! ]
In short, me too. (See my post from yesterday.)
But I have an Intel EtherExpress Pro 10/100 (16 bit).
If you go to http://cesdis.gsfc.nasa.gov/linux/diag/ you can
get diagnostic and configuration programs. Try
running "mii-diag -F 10baseT". Whether it works depends on
what chip your card has. It works on 2/3 of my 3 cards.
Another option: If you look at your driver source, there should be a list of
kernel options, some of which may control autonegotiation and
the network speed. You can pass the arguments in /etc/pcmcia/config.opts.
Or you can set the parameter in the driver source and recompile.
I have had a hard time tracking down any information about this
problem on the net. What I would like is to find a fix so I can
use the card at 100Mb/s.
Please CC me.
