Hello..
I've been looking for a list devoted to linux on
notebooks for little while now, and I guess I finally
found one.. :)
Anyways, I have a Compaq Presario 1277 right now.
It has Slackware7 installed on it with KDE, blackbox
-alpha, and star office.
I have a couple of questions though...
1. Does anyone know what or where i could find the LCD
screen specs for this model at? Ive tried compaq tech
support, both phone and web with no luck... :P
2. Does anyone know how I would configure the sound
card on this?
3. What else, completely opinion oriented, could I
install on this to make it more of a portable desktop
OS with some small devel tools on it ..
when i install something to it, i usually think of
what ill need going on a trip.. Word processor, some
games, some code utils to program out of boredom..etc
