X works fine once you configure the correct display...
The system seems to work well under Linux, just no modem or sound support.
The sound card (ES-1371) appears to be supported or at least is recognized by the
kernel (default for rh 6.2 - 2.2.14), but I don't get any sound?
(Vendor 1102 device 8938, irq5, io's at 0x10c0 and 0x1080)
Also, the modem is an Actiontec 56K Global modem (Lucent Chipset built onto the
motherboard).
I looked at the FAQ on Actiontec's site for the Actiontec PCI modem, when I look in
/proc/pci I see a "Lucent microelectronics device" (Vendor 11c1, device 448, no IRQ
listed).
The modem information described in the FAQ has the device id being 480.
Any thoughts?
