I do not change anything merely swap hard drives.
the config_opts files are identical, at least the uncommented parts.

Hi iam trying to move from Caldera to Mandrake.
in order to use the latest GIMP.
Caldera 2.2 works fine with pcmcia 3com modem,
Mandrake 7.0 does not.
the Caldera uses /dev/ttyS2, however Mandrake 7.0 reports 'modem busy' on
that device.
also:

dmesg reports:
tty02 at 0x13f8 (irq = 3) is a 16550A
Caldera 2.2
dmesg reports:
tty02 at 0x03e8 (irq = 3) is a 16550A
What should I do?
