This week I've been using LVM with sbuild + schroot to create a debian package build server. Basically there is a 5GB LV for each debian or ubuntu distribution. There are two wrappers for accessing it. 'schroot foo-source' will mount the LV and schroot you into it while 'schroot foo' will create a snapshot so that any changes you make are not saved. You use the first for fixing and updating the schroot and the second for building or testing. https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SbuildLVMHowto http://community.opscode.com/cookbooks/sbuild http://blog.loftninjas.org/2011/03/10/lvm-errors-with-sbuild/ Bryan McLellan
