Subject: ip masquerading problem
Date: Sun, 01 Oct 2000 00:24:25 GMT
I am running a linux box with a cable modem. I am using ip masquerading to
us this box as a gateway for the other computers on my home network. I
wanted to try some of these internet phone companies like visitalk.com.
What do I have to do (mapping, etc) to use these sites.
Also I am just wondering how I search old posts for this newsgroup?
Thanks.

.deb and .tgz (or .tar.gz) are no rpm's, tho.

Our company, AIS, develops and supports the XESS spreadsheet products.
What version of XESS are you using and what kind of problem are
you having? We are currently upgrading our clients to version 5.0.
Have you reported your problems to [EMAIL PROTECTED] or to local
support at your university?
Please contact our support group and we will be glad to help
with any problems.
P.S. Evaluation versions of XESS 5.0 are available for many
systems, including Linux, at http://www.ais.com but the Web
site itself will still reflect version 4.1 for a few more days.

I have no idea! I have a 100% MS free zone here, but I know how to do it
with Linux piece of cake. Just use this script assuming your local net is
192.168.1.x and it would be a good idea to also load up some ipchains as a
firewall. Place the script in /usr/bin and call it from the bottom of
/etc/rc.r/rc.local and you will masquerade at boot every time

=================================================================
This is the Linux Counter summary as of Sun Oct 1 00:40:53 2000
There are 157197 persons registerd.
3023 users have been registered by friends.
There are 81821 machines registered.
I guesstimate that between 0.2% and 5% of all Linux users have
registered with the Linux Counter.
So the total number of Linux users is probably between
3,143,940 and 78,598,500 people.
