Oh, thanx for the heads-up! Someone should change that.

    Thanx for the info.

BTW, I'm assuming DOSEmu handles locking "best" if it is local (at
least better than over SMB)? That was my assumption. XDOS is the
best way to do it IMHO -- the IBM Extended ASCII stuff (i.e. chars
128-255) shows up better in it too (versus just the DOS binary
I think so. I did use SMB in a smaller scale w/out any problems,
provided you have at least 2.2 of smbd. They really have made some
tremendous improvements, yet that 2.0 is still everywhere.
I'm not going to even throw NFS into the mix (although I'll be using
NIS/NFS for home directories, automount maps, etc...). Heck, I
don't trust _anything_else_ being on the same volume -- hence why
/var/lib/DOSEmu is its own filesystem on just that _one_ system.
That may be a little extreme. But I guess it never hurts to be safe. I
personally have never run out of inodes on a filesystem and that is the
only concern I can think of that is fixed by having DOSEMU on it's own
fs.
