I'm running dosemu (1.0.2.0) on a Pentium II 300. I'm setting up BBS doors using the vmodem stupport, however I've encountered something strange.
The title screens for the games I'm trying (just standard 80x24 ANSI screens) are drawn at snail pace. It takes 20-30 seconds for it to draw the whole screen. At first I thought it might be the baud rate set on the COM port I was using, but it does the same thing in local modem when just displaying to the screen. Something somewhere is making things very slow. hogthreshold seems to have no effect, I've tried tweaking the display settings - that had no effect also. Any ideas?
