Hi,
I've started using xdosemu instead of SUID dosemu for console graphics. However there are two problems with it: 1. If I run X in 256-colour mode and play a 256-colour game (i.e. X server running at same bit depth as DOSemu for high speed), the palette seems to be changed by the game. Can this be avoided? It is generally inconvenient if my GIMP image changes colour esp. when I want to compare it to some image in DOSemu :) 2. I have a game (One Must Fall 2097) that runs in VGA mode 13h (320x200x256) and for some reason, DOSemu renders it incorrectly. See my attachments to compare what it's "supposed" to like (in Win98, because I can't take a screenshot of a console graphics in DOSemu), compared to how xdosemu renders it. Is someone willing to fix this, please? Because I have very little programming knowledge and this is a very serious rendering error. Dosemu in console graphics mode renders it correctly, however (running SUID, of course). Note: I was playing with those images in GIMP so I accidently "smudged" a few things :) Thanks, pesarif p.s. Is it bad netettique to send attachments to mailinglists?
