Actually, I said that I told dosemu to use /dev/ptyp0 for COM1 and
/dev/ptyp1 for COM2.  Wouldn't that send all of the emulated COM1/2 stuff
out to those devices (rather than the physical ports)?

And, incidentally, this version of Concurrent DOS is really old (e.g.  
before CDOS-386).  It was written by Digital Research before it was bought
by Novell, and subsequently licensed to Concurrent, IMS, and one other
company.
