no it wasn't me.

i tried dosemu-1.1.3.1 and it got somewhat better:

now the mouse runs smooth without setting hogthreshhold to 0 (at least in some 
programs, see below). The mouse clicking problem is also getting better, 
although from time to time it occurs again.

But upgrading to 1.1.3.1 also created some new problems. I have tested it with 
"Die Fugger 2", and this causes xdosemu to crashe (with hogtreshhold set to 0 
it crashes right after moving the mouse, with setting to 1 it crashes after 
some time, e.g. 20 s). Also the mouse runs not smooth in this game without 
setting hogt. to 0.
