Hi.

Been running 1.0.2.1 for quite awhile and it's been doing great for me.

Recently went into the 2.6 kernels, starting with 2.6.0. Things were
fine with that one, and with the first 2.6.1 release candidate
(specifically, 2.6.1-rc1-mm1). I had to go to that one to start
resolving some ide cd burning issues I was having.

Now I've installed the released 2.6.1, and dosemu-1.0.2.1 no longer
wants to run correctly. All that happens is that I get the familiar
startup messages as follows:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# xdos
kernel CPU speed is 1200000242 Hz
Running on CPU=586, FPU=1
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~#

and no window with my dos session in it. Same problem happens if I
start it in a console session.

I tried doing

xdos 2> brokenness

but nothing went there.

Can anyone tell me what would be going on here, and/or how to start
tracking it down? I was planning to go to the latest 2.6.1 mm release,
but not if dosemu won't work with it. I can also go to the dosemu 1.1.99
release if someone says I should and that it would make a difference.
I just haven't because 1.0.2.1 was working so well.

Thx,
jbh
