Hello,

in case you did not receive my email, I'm re-sending it.

Best regards,

Joachim Kalinowski.

Hello,

could you help me with the following problem:

Im telnetting from a win95 workstation via netterm to a linux box
running kernel 2.0.35. This connection is definitely 8-bit-clean as the
German umlauts display in the shell (Im using bash 2.0). But as soon as
I start dosemu, I dont get the 8-bit-characters working. Dosemu starts
MSDOS version 6.22 and standard CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT (including
codepage but excluding KEYBOARD.SYS resp. KEYB.COM support, the latter
does not work with the current versions).
I tried starting MSDOS _without_ any country-specific codepage
support,but that wouldnt work either.

I entered following options into /etc/dosemu.conf:

terminal { charset ibm  updatefreq 4  color on }
keyboard {  layout de-latin1  keybint on  rawkeyboard on  }

I would appreciate any help as I have consulted every help document,
FAQ, README or web ressources I could grab with my fingers...

Thank you very much in advance.

Best regards,

Joachim Kalinowski.
