I know what you mean, I tried to upgrade dosemu from .66 to .98 (or
whatever it is) and it didn't work with a simple RPM and most of the
configuration is different, etc. The howto and other docs are almost useless
unless you're setting up dosemu with a novell network or something like that,
and although I'd love to contribute to the documentation, i'll have to learn
how to use it properly first! I used Merge386 with SCO UNIX and it would run
on top of the unix shell so you could type DOS and UNIX commands and not
even know you were running an emulator. Dosemu is extremely well done
but the general public won't accept editing config files, trying to find
documentation, etc. That's why it really should be made to be as simple as
possible.
