I am having problems patching or locating a version of ip_masq_irc.c that
will allow bi-directional DCC chats/sends/recieves. I am having no
problems with DCC recevies, but when I do a DCC send it times out. Anyone
I send to sees the DCC send and acks it, but the ack never gets back.
I understand that this is due to how the IP forwarding operates.
Does anyone know of a fix/hack that will allow this module to forward the
DCCs properly. I have spent a couple days trying to hack around the code,
but I am not having any luck. The code does allow for some ports to be
specified in the conf.modules. But unfortunately, it only allows 12 and
the 12 are not stadard ports. I have added 128 ports, but then it
interferes with web and the like. I have also checked the kernel updates
(up to 2.0.36) and the module is still the original.
I would appreciate any help that can be offered.
