No. Hacker is a person who hacks. A hack is a clever or
crafty way to solve a complex problem.

A cracker is a person who cracks. A crack is an attempt,
whether or not it is successful, at compromising the
security and/or quality of service of a computer system.

the current stigma associated with the term "hacker."
