Hi,

I just installed Red Hat 5.2 on my machine at home.
With the kernel rpms everything boots cleanly.
But last night I recompiled the 2.0.36 kernel with my particular
setup and did a "make modules; make modules_install" afterwards.
When it boots now, I get errors about missing modules which I can't
track down. It says something like:
modprobe: ... module net-pf-6
modprobe: ... module net-pf-4
modprobe: ... module net-pf-5
<repeats this about 3 times with kernel 2.0.36-3 rpm>

Then I tried updating my rpms for kernel 2.2.2.
I get the same boot errors but it repeats about 5 or 6 times.

I updated all my rpms with what's on redhat's site for both kernels.
I can't seem to figure out what's wrong.  I don't have anything
in my conf.modules any more.

This isn't so much a networking bug but the module is net-pf-#.

Thanks,
Tuan
