These errors are caused by the kernel (?) trying to load some modules it had
in it's default installation. You have not specified these items to be
compiled, so they cannot be loaded. I think net-pf-4 and 5 have something to
do with appletalk and IPX. The easiest way to get rid of these (non-fatal)
error messages is to put the following in your /etc/conf.modules

        alias net-pf-4 off
        alias net-pf-5 off
        alias net-pf-6 off

That is the response I got when i posted a similar message months ago.
