Apologies to the list. I read this as a ppp problem and imagined I
was replying (last time) to linux-ppp.

Still, I have a single ethernet interface (and some ppp interfaces)
and don't see duplicate routes on 2.1.122. I have Net Tools 1.46.
If you have an earlier version, that might be the problem.
