I'm in a situation of considering some Compaq ProLiant 1850R
machines as Linux web servers. They have an on-board Compaq
network interface (Compaq Netelligent 10/100 ProLiant) which uses
the tlan driver. My question is: just how reliable is this driver?
I've had a lot of experience using the eepro100 driver and am
relatively happy with it. If there are any issues with the tlan
driver, I'ld prefer to throw an Intel card in the machine and just ignore
the built-in interface.

                                Thanks,
                                Bill Bogstad
