I turned off IPv6, but iptunnel.c (might not be exact name), for IPMasq I
need enabled, cannot link. I have never upgraded my C libraries since I
installed slackware some 1.5 yrs ago. I will go upgrade my libraries and
linker if that is the correct thing to do.
I am also unclear on this libc5 and libc6 issue.
Can I have both of these libraries installed at the same time?
What is the difference between the two?
If I do upgrade, which one should I upgrade to?

What configuration options did you enable? These functions should only be
needed for IPv6 or the advanced IPv4 tools.
They should be part of the C library, but older systems probably don't
include
them. I'm not sure where else you can find them.
