EtherlinkIII 3c509,IRQ 7 and parport

Hi,
I have EtherlinkIII 3c509 and Linux recognize its IRQ as 7,but this is the
IRQ of parport.If I try to set Etherlink's IRQ to another one it stops to
respond.
The same is for Linux 2.2.5 and 2.0.35.
What I suppose to do ?
