I had the same problem with connect 64000 and nothing else. What I did
was change the init string for the modem to at&fb12 this was for the USR
Sportster ISDN T/A. So what you need to do is read the manual for that
peice of harware and try to find the string that works for your setup.
Thank you, but I've tried that already. at&fb3 (in my case to convert from
async to sync ppp). Didn't work.
I've increased lcp-max-interval, and played with a lot of other options.
But no luck yet.
My ISP just won't talk to me. And it's their hardware too, they just don't
have technical knowledge in the Linux arena to help. But the Pcbit-TA does
work in Windows, GOD bless him (the PCbit-TA not Windows :-)).
If anyone else care to try, please do.
