Hi,
I use microsoft outlook to read and send mails from my linux server over
tcp/ip connection through modem and tel lines ...
so, though i can now retrive my mails from the linux server , it still takes
lot of time in sending even a single line of message ...
I used the ip address of my machine for the SMTP field required in outlook.
I guess that the ip address for sendmail still is not resolved and that
takes the time ...
plus since i just reinstalled the linux (red hat 6) you can expect the
standard sendmail... ( i havent fiddled with it .)
Thanks a lot
Regards,
Gaurav.
