I have a similar problem. In my case I have more than one NIC on _both_
sides that I want to be used. The traffic itself should later be
compressed and encrypted, so I will need a virtual NIC that any network
program could use so that encryption and compression will be handled
transparently. I found that tinc maybe would be the right choice.

But setting up more than one NIC connection between two those two hosts
does not work up to now. Is there some documentation on this? What
about QOS-features in Kernel 2.2.x (Im using 2.2.14 right now), is
there any documentation available? And how about those "multipath
routes" seen in the kernel configuration?

Bye, Mike
