Currently I have SMP one.

BTW, I've found a culprit of wait_for_cmd_done timeouts and consequent
failures that you experienced.  Now I'm trying to invent how to fix it.

But the whole system hangs aren't explained.
Have you considered running kernel debugger to check what really happens?
