I now have a dual boot system, with two separate 6.4Gb hard drives.

One /dev/hda has Windows 98 and internet access, the other /dev/hdb is
up and running with SuSE Linux 7.0. (KDE is excellent).

I find that using Linux/KDE I can access the other half of the machine,
so that I am able to get files off the internet using FTP, file them
under the W98 file system, and then pull them across to the Linux side
using KDE.

My question is, will I be able to install such files (now filed in the
Linux file system) to run under Linux by using YaST2 ?

I particularly want to run Pascal. Currently I use Borland TP7.0, but
would like to download (possibly) gpc by the means described above.

Can anyone foresee any dangers, or offer any advice?
Will I possibly encounter problems with dependencies ?
What would be the preferred file system usage for this procedure ?

Hwyl.
