That is the next-but-one step.
I have already checked with my ISP, and Linux is not a problem for them.
I am merely getting up-to-speed by easy stages.
My ultimate goal is to completely replace Windows with Linux when I have
the skills required.

I think that some Linux distros may use different versions of the file
system. This might affect where I put the down loaded files.
