running red hat 7.0 guinness
kernel 2.2.16.22 on an i586
xfree86 version 3.3.6
video card ati all-in-wonder
chip mach 64 : rage II+
memory 4 MB
i change monitors under 6.0 pro to cti monitors and back to pro and
can
use xf86config
and all works well. upgraded to 7.0 and can not configure video card and
cti monitor
get config error /usr/x11/lib/x11/xf86 config :48
subsection "extmod"
module section keyword expected
also see card not supported and use less memory for card setting
tried less memory same error message
am i missing files or should i upgrade xfree86 to a newer version?
or should i reload 6.0 add card and monitor like always and then upgrade
to 7.0
