I dont really like answering mails like this as i am not really an Xpert at X.
But considering noone else has answered!!!.

I would comment out line 48 of XF86Config and see where it leads.

It seems you have a command in your file without an "option", as to what
"extmod" is i dont know at this minute.

Now maybe a lesson is to be learned here, why not save files like this when you
change your system, then one has an old working file to look at.

Also AFAIK rage cards have been supported for ages, so it should in in your
"Cards" file which is normally found in /etc/X11/ somewhere or i belive that
to be true for a Redhat system, mine is not running at the minute so i cant
check.
