Hi folks,
Being a newbie, i've wondered why Linux OS is more reliable and stable of a
platform then, say, Windows. What makes a Linux system able to run for
years on end without crashing, but my PC running Windows 2000 seems to crash
once a day? Is it the fact that there are so many 3rd party vendor programs
on my machine? How about the fact that most of Linux is written in C or C++
(what is the Windows OS written in anyway? )? I am definately converting
over to Linux with all of your help...gonna install my first version of
Mandrake this weekend!
Much obliged,
Greg
