Each file inside /etc/xinetd.d/* contains information on the service. Much
more readable and is also managed by ntsysv now (entries in /etc/xinetd.d/*
appear as ntsysv entries just like a normal daemon). This way ntsysv can
enable and disable an xinetd service for you. Unfortunately, it does not
specify which is which and for most newbie people would require a reboot.

If you just turned on/off an xinetd service, you can either "service xinetd
restart" or "killall -HUP xinetd" to make xinetd see the changes. Much
safer to use the "service" method so you will get an OK or FAILED, etc
instead of having to tail the system logs.
