libgtk is part of the gimp toolkit.  I don't have a current Slackware,
but as of Slackware 7 it was in slakware/gtk1/gtkglib.tgz

In case you can't find it you can probably find rpm.tgz in slakware/a1
and use it to install a gtk+ rpm.
