I would be very interested in an FAQ. When I joined the list a few
months ago my first question was "is there an FAQ?" since I did not want
to bore people with recently asked questions. A few others have asked
the same question since. Such a document would, I believe, be
invaluable in increasing the installed base of Linux.
If it's of any help, I have saved what I consider to be "helpful" Q&A's.
I can mail them to you if you're interested as they may be useful enough
to turn into FAQ items.

Good luck,

Martin
