The "essential commands" part is easy, when and if the FAQ URL has its page
on the web, make a link to http://www.nmt.edu/tcc/help/unix/unix_cmd.html
Its a nice place to start learning.
There are many more URL's around with newbie help, dont fall into a
FREQUENTLY made mistake of "Reinventing the wheel", by duplicateing what has
already been done.
