That depends which window manager you happen to be using, and is
configurable in most of them anyway.

Ctrl-Alt-F<n> switches to tty<n> from X.
If you are not in X, then Alt-F<n> will do the same, and AltGr-F<n> will
        switch to tty<n+12>
Alt-Left and Alt-Right move down and up one tty (repectively) (doesn't
        work from in X)
Ctrl-Alt-Backspace kills the X server visciously
Shift-PageUp scrolls up on a tty
Shift-ScrollLock dumps memory info
Ctrl-ScrollLock dumps task info IIRC

there are several others that I can't remember right now.  Those are
basically the useful ones.

Oh, and Ctrl-Alt-SysRq-stuff in 2.1.x kernels
