You might try finding some sort of disk manager program that allows the
BIOS to see the entire hard drive. If your hard drive manufacturer is on
the web, it would be a simple d/l assuming that the manufacturer
provides such software for Linux. Or you could buy a Pentium-"flavor" 
motherboard. BTW, I found this to be a problem when using a boot manager
other than LILO (I am using the OS/2 boot manager) - if you don't properly
fdisk & format.
