Hi!,
I just finished writing a programming environment similar to Turbo C
in linux, with losts of added features required in Here's the lsm file
for the same. Best when used in text mode on a color monitor.
Hope you enjoy it! :)

Title: ape (Another Programming Environment!)
Version: Version 0.0.1, August 1 1998
Entered-date: August 1 1998
Description: An integrated development environment for linux, having
features in common to Borland C++, xwpe etc. It has 3 major
editing modes, where Borland, Vi and Emacs behaviour is
simulated. Supports both normal and color modes, similar to jed,
in which language syntax is highlighted. You can compile
programs (currently C, C++ and LaTeX), send mail, invoke a
spell check utility on the file being edited, view man pages,
info files, system information and much more inside the
                program itself.
Keywords: linux text editor, xwpe, borland ide, emacs, vi, jed.
