You wont see a kernel option for Mickysoft serial mouse, you need to use
GPM, you would/can define your mouse in /etc/sysconfig/mouse

MOUSETYPE="Microsoft"
XEMU3=yes  # for 3 button mouse.

It will also be nessascary to make a symbolic link in /dev/ to mouse like
ln -s cua0 mouse That is for comm1 cua1 would normaly be comm2.

To try the mouse out on the command line type 'gpm -t msc &'
